Wanderungen und Plätze/hiking and places:

Einer meiner Lieblingsplätze ist die Schwalbenwand. Die Wanderung bis auf den Gipfel dauert rund 2 Stunden und von dort oben hat man einen tollen Rundblick. 

Fahre einfach mit dem Auto auf den "Mitterberg". Von dort aus geht es über die Schützingalm (im Sommer bewirtschaftet) zunächst auf das Maishofner Kreuz und dann auf die Schwalbenwand.

One of my favorite places is the "Schwalbenwand". It´s a 2 h hike, starting from "Mitterberg" wich you can reach by car. 

At the top you will be rewarded with a breathtaking 360° view.

Schon mal hinter einem Wasserfall gestanden? Es geht steil bergauf, aber es lohnt sich!

Ein weiters Highlight ist das Birnbachloch. Von Zell am See weg geht es mit dem Auto ca. 20 min nach Leogang. Dort begibt man sich in das "Ullachtal". Eine schöne kleine Wanderung, die auch für Kinder geeignet ist.

Another highlight is the "Birnbachloch" in Leogang. By car you will reach the starting point "Ullachtal" in aprox. 20 min..

It's a nice hike, also suitable for children.

Strandbad Thumersbach
Der Platz in der Sonne und am See in Zell. Hier gibt es was gutes zu Essen und der beste Platz zum schwimmen gehen!

Selbst im Winter ist allemal ein Spaziergang durch den Park wert.

The place in the sun and by the lake in Zell. Great food, great atmosphere! Take a swim there in summer, or a nice walk in wintertime.

Kraftwerk ... nice food and atmosphere, staff is very friendly! 

Erlhof ... gourmet,... go for the "Feinschmeckermenu"

Die Fliegerei ... Restaurant at the airfield in Zell,.. watch the planes taking of while eating on the terrace!

Margarethenstein ...  I love to go there. The panorama restaurant is the place to be in Kaprun for a romantic dinner

Postwirt Maishofen ... hungry? austrian food, nice terrace, fair prices, local place
